Hot melt yarn, with low melting point, thermoplastic and self-viscous, when heated to a certain temperature will soften the melt into a certain flow of viscous fluid, and then solidify into a solid after cooling.

The hot melt is mixed with other fibers to produce nonwovens or knitted or woven into thermally-bonded fiber products, which are characterized by soft hand feel, high strength, washable, clean, easy to handle and free from environmental pollution.

Hot melt yarn, also known as low melting point fiber, is one of the most rapidly developed functional fibers in recent years.

The melting point can be controlled between 85ºC and 140ºC by adjusting the raw material characteristics.

At room temperature, the hot fuse and other fibers are woven into the fabric, and then in the dry or wet hot state, the pressure on the fabric, when the temperature is higher than the melting point of the hot fuse, the hot fuse gradually melt.

At this temperature, however, the normal other fibers remain constant and are held together by a hot melt.

Therefore, hot melt yarn can replace the chemical adhesives such as glue, avoid the pollution of volatile and powder layer, non-toxic environmental protection;

At the same time, the process flow is saved and the downstream production cost is reduced.

At present, hot melt yarn is widely used in outdoor 3D fly weave vamp, athletic shoe, sofa fabric, curtain and window screening, carbon fiber fabric shaping, chenille yarn, bondi thread, high-grade suit lining, ribbon, lace and glove lace and other fields, is a high-tech product with a huge market prospect.
